When creators meet at comic conventions, good things happen. Last weekend at Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle, Evan “Doc” Shaner and I did a straight-up trade of The World’s Mightiest Maid, Mary Marvel.

A recent commission in watercolor, ink, and gouache.
The buyer of this commission requested a World’s Finest theme; in other words, any team of a Super character and a Bat character. He left the choice of which characters up to me.
In the end, there was never any choice to be made. I mean, it’s obvious, right?

Satana, the Devil’s daughter, sister of Damion Hellstrom, is one of my favorite Marvel horror characters from the 70’s. Mostly just because she looks so awesome and sexy.
